In order to fully shape the international image of IP system, National institute of ceramic industry design (NICID) has launched a global solicitation of LOGO.
活動自啟動以來,得到了各界的積極響應,應征作品紛至沓來。短短7天內共征集到來自全球的223件投稿作品。除了來自全國各地設計機構、設計高校師生和個人的優(yōu)秀作品外,征集活動還迎來日本、英國、印度尼西亞、孟加拉國等國際設計師的熱情參與。
Since solicitation of LOGO started, it has received positive responses from various industries, and entries for designs have been plentiful. A total of 223 submissions from all over the world were solicited in just 7 days. In addition to a large number of outstanding designs from design institutions, teachers, students and individuals from design universities across country, solicitation of LOGO also welcomed the enthusiastic participation of foreign friends from Japan, England, Indonesia and Bangladesh.

After an intensive evaluation, an expert group composed of experts and think tanks of the Academy selected 1 final design and 5 outstanding designs from 223 submissions.

設計說明:本標志在整體風格上采用國際上最廣泛認可的國際主義風格進行點線面的構成設計,體現(xiàn)出NICID的國際性以及作為一個國家大型設計機構的嚴肅性;中國自古便是陶瓷業(yè)的大國,China與ceramic都有著瓷器的含義,故,在標志的主體元素方面,采用“C”的形態(tài)進行設計;并且將“C”與瓷器碗口的邊緣弧度與瓷器的圓潤感相結合,從而形成想要的圖形;在配色方面,以黑色為底采用中國紅與陶瓷白作為配色,體現(xiàn)出華夏文化的永恒美感并且融入冷靜的國際主義風格,從而迸發(fā)出強烈的視覺沖擊力。

Design notes:The overall style of this logo adopts the most widely recognized internationalism style in the world to design dots, lines and planes, which reflects the internationality of NICID and the seriousness of being a large-scale design agency in the country; China has been a big country in ceramic industry since ancient times. Both China and ceramic have the meaning of porcelain. Therefore, in terms of the main elements of the logo, I use the form of "C" to design; and combine the "C" with the edge curvature of the porcelain bowl and the roundness of the porcelain. So as to form the desired graphics; in terms of color matching, using black as the base and using Chinese red and ceramic white as the color matching, reflecting the eternal beauty of Chinese culture and incorporating a calm international style, thus bursting out a strong visual impact.

Design Notes: Logo takes ceramic industry as an entry point, extracts the shape elements of porcelain, and merges the letters NICID and NI into the bottle mouth. The I in the middle of the CID is also the number 1, reflecting the “1+1+X" ceramic industry design innovation system. Logo is expressed in a linear expression with a sense of science and technology. The scattered and deformed letters reflect the inner dynamics. The rich color scheme reflects the vigorous development of the industry. The overall logo presents simple, concrete and unique brand image characteristics.

設計說明:1. 用NICID字母變形的同時,最明顯能看到一個中文“中”字,用字母CID組合,陶瓷的英文為china與中國CHINA 同拼寫,歷史關聯(lián)在此不去贅述,而我們國家陶瓷行業(yè)工業(yè)設計自然能承載住這個“中”!2. 線條狀表達寓意為工業(yè)設計的未來趨勢,數(shù)字化生產(chǎn)的數(shù)據(jù)流,上下起伏與漸變像山水虛實卻活躍跳動,給人積極向上,富有科技感、動感和未來感;3. 如果國家陶瓷行業(yè)工業(yè)設計有一種信念,那這種信念的顏色必定是紅色。

Design Notes: 1. While deforming with word NICID , we can most obviously see a Chinese character "中", combined with the letters CID. The English name of ceramic is china and it is spelled in the same way with “China”. The historical connection will not be repeated here, but our national ceramics The industrial design of the industry can naturally bear this "medium"! 2. The linear expression implies the future trend of industrial design. The ups and downs and gradual changes of the data flow of digital production are like mountains and rivers, but lively beating, giving people a positive, technological, dynamic and futuristic sense; 3. If there is a belief in the industrial design of the national ceramic industry, the color of this belief must be red.
