美國(guó)平面設(shè)計(jì)協(xié)會(huì)（AIGA）從1924年開(kāi)始舉辦“50佳圖書(shū)|50佳封面（50 Books|50 Covers）”比賽，旨在評(píng)選出過(guò)去一年里在書(shū)籍和封面設(shè)計(jì)上表現(xiàn)最出色的書(shū)，并永久錄入可訪問(wèn)的AIGA平面設(shè)計(jì)收藏檔案庫(kù)中。目前該賽事已成為美國(guó)平面設(shè)計(jì)界歷史最悠久的比賽之一。

  本屆競(jìng)賽的評(píng)委們對(duì)每件作品的綜合設(shè)計(jì)方式進(jìn)行了評(píng)估，包括概念、創(chuàng)新，以及排版、插圖和信息設(shè)計(jì)等視覺(jué)元素方面的運(yùn)用。6月22日，AIGA官網(wǎng)公布了2020年度“50 Books|50 Covers”的獲獎(jiǎng)作品。本屆大獎(jiǎng)共收到696個(gè)來(lái)自36個(gè)國(guó)家的作品，最終85件書(shū)籍及封面作品脫穎而出，其中有15件作品同時(shí)獲評(píng)最佳圖書(shū)和最佳封面。本篇收錄了50件獲獎(jiǎng)的最佳圖書(shū)封面設(shè)計(jì)。
