01  展覽介紹 | About Exhibtion

 2022年在美亞裔藝術(shù)家視覺(jué)藝術(shù)展（2022 AAA Visual Art Exhibition）  是北美留學(xué)生基金會(huì)主辦的非盈利性公益藝術(shù)展，由留學(xué)生網(wǎng)和悟空傳媒策劃，數(shù)十位國(guó)際知名藝術(shù)家傾力支持，全美各大高校聯(lián)盟合作，多個(gè)社會(huì)公益機(jī)構(gòu)共同打造，旨在為所有在美亞裔青年藝術(shù)家提供一個(gè)更大的可以展示自己的平臺(tái)，一個(gè)可以用自己的藝術(shù)語(yǔ)言發(fā)聲的機(jī)會(huì)。

北美留學(xué)生基金會(huì)希望能藉由本次藝術(shù)展，讓無(wú)論是在美發(fā)展的藝術(shù)家，藝術(shù)行業(yè)工作者，還是在校藝術(shù)生，都能有更多的曝光機(jī)會(huì)，獲得更多的社會(huì)關(guān)注。

本次藝術(shù)展歡迎所有人投稿，用自己的藝術(shù)語(yǔ)言讓市場(chǎng)更加多元化。我們期待以藝術(shù)的方式，邀請(qǐng)世界和平傾聽(tīng)亞洲力量的聲音，共同營(yíng)造多元化的環(huán)境。

本次公開(kāi)征集的截止日期是2022年3月11日，可以先報(bào)名后于截止日期前提交完整作品，請(qǐng)所有投稿藝術(shù)家在截止日期前完成投稿。

Liminality：2022 Visual Art Exhibition of Asian Artists in America is a non-profit art exhibition hosted by the Overseas Students Foundation(OSF) and co-curated by Overseas Student Service Corporation and Wukong Media. This exhibition has full support from world-renowned artists and students' federations of most US universities. It is produced in partnership with multiple public welfare organizations as well. We provide all Asian artists with an inspiring platform to present their works and an opportunity to speak for themselves with art language. 

Overseas Students Foundation (OSF) hopes this art exhibition could unite the artists, art industry workers， and art students in the US together to broaden the development space for Asian artists.

Liminality: 2022 Visual Art Exhibition of Asian Artists in America welcomes all artists. We look forward to using art as the medium to achieve a diversified environment and invite the world to listen to the voice of Asian Art.

The deadline for this open call is March 11, 2022. All submission artists are requested to complete their submissions before the deadline.

02 主題 | Theme

本次展覽主題為“Liminality·中間人”。

Liminality是一種介于兩種狀態(tài)之間的轉(zhuǎn)換中的境況，是同時(shí)被兩種語(yǔ)境夾雜而囊括著的一個(gè)中間的臨界態(tài)，是一種存在大眾視野中被擠壓隱藏的狀態(tài)。

在人類(lèi)社會(huì)生活中，它可能意味著一個(gè)邊緣身份上的認(rèn)同，一個(gè)不同性別的歸屬。不是標(biāo)簽，而是生活中一種既定存在的狀態(tài)。

The Theme of this exhibition is Liminality.

Liminality is a state in a transition between two states, or a critical state in between being mixed by two contexts at the same time. This is a state that exists in the public eye but is squeezed and hidden. 

Putting it into terms of human social life, it may mean a marginal identity or a gender classification. It is not a label attached to people, it is an established state of existence in people's lives.

03 展覽獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)

| Exhibition & Awards

本次展覽將在紐約、洛杉磯、波士頓的藝術(shù)畫(huà)廊線(xiàn)下展出；各地區(qū)觀(guān)眾票選人氣最高前三名展品將會(huì)有機(jī)會(huì)全美巡展。

最終經(jīng)評(píng)委會(huì)票選出的前三名藝術(shù)家，可分別獲得$3000， $2000，$1000的現(xiàn)金獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。

Selected works will be displayed at art galleries in Los Angeles, New York, and Boston; The top three works selected by the audience at the gallery in each city will have the opportunity to participate in the itinerant exhibition in the US.

Cash Awards:

• First-place awards in the amount of $3000.00

• Second-place awards in the amount of $2000.00

• Third-place awards in the amount of $1000.00

04 可接收的藝術(shù)形式

 | Acceptable Art Forms

Painting and printmaking ｜ 繪畫(huà)與版畫(huà)

作品形式和風(fēng)格不限（油畫(huà)、蛋彩、亞克力、水墨、丙烯、水彩、石墨、鉛筆、拼貼、印刷等均可）；畫(huà)板不限（帆布、紙板、木板、塑料板、鐵板等）。尺寸限制：長(zhǎng)寬均不超過(guò)175 厘米。

The work form and style are not limited (oil painting, tempera, acrylic, ink, acrylic, watercolour, graphite, pencil, collage, printing, etc.); drawing board is not limited (canvas, cardboard, wood, plastic, iron, etc.). Size restriction: Length and width shall not exceed 175 cm.

Photographic Art ｜ 攝影藝術(shù)

膠片或數(shù)碼照片，可經(jīng)后期處理。尺寸限制：長(zhǎng)寬均不超過(guò)175厘米。

Film or digital photos can be post-processed. Size restriction: Length and width shall not exceed 175 cm.

Video Art ｜ 視頻藝術(shù)

數(shù)碼或膠片錄制的視頻、慢動(dòng)作或延時(shí)攝影。時(shí)長(zhǎng)不超過(guò)10分鐘，上傳文件大小不超過(guò)500MB。（無(wú)聲）

Digital or film-recorded video, slow motion or time-lapse photography, all of them need to be present without sound. The duration does not exceed 10minutes. The upload file size does not exceed 500MB.

Digital Graphic ｜ 數(shù)字圖形藝術(shù)

使用計(jì)算機(jī)，平板電腦，SMARTHPHONE或應(yīng)用程序（包括數(shù)字繪畫(huà)，GIF和照片的應(yīng)用程序）制作或編輯的數(shù)字圖形和卡通圖像和作品，其中以技術(shù)干預(yù)為主。其中包括但不限于數(shù)字繪畫(huà)，卡通和漫畫(huà)，GIF和海報(bào)等作品。入圍作品將放置在顯示器上，最大尺寸為50*60厘米; 或印刷在二維支撐上，每邊最大尺寸為175厘米。

Digital graphics and cartoon images and works produced or edited using computers, tablets, SMARTPHONE or applications (including digital painting, GIF and photo applications), with technical intervention as the main focus. These include but are not limited to digital paintings, cartoons, comics, GIFs and posters. The shortlisted works will be placed on a monitor with a maximum size of 50*60 cm;  or printed on two-dimensional support, with a maximum size of 175 cm on each side.

05 申請(qǐng) | Apply

• 作品提交通道將由2022年1月17日開(kāi)啟，截止至2022年3月11日；可以先報(bào)名后在截止日期前補(bǔ)充完整作品。

• 參選資格：參選人員需18歲及以上，坐標(biāo)北美

• 參選費(fèi)用：免費(fèi)

• 申請(qǐng)人需要提供個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)介、藝術(shù)家聲明，以及每件作品的標(biāo)題、描述（媒介/過(guò)程）和作品尺寸（尺寸和重量/時(shí)間）

* 所有符合上述類(lèi)別以及描述的作品均可通過(guò)“掃描海報(bào)二維碼”報(bào)名，或點(diǎn)擊“閱讀原文/Read More” 將作品提交至OSSC藝術(shù)評(píng)選委員會(huì)篩選。

* 單次提交只限一份作品， 如果需要提交多份作品，請(qǐng)重新填寫(xiě)提交表格

篩選結(jié)果通知：

經(jīng)評(píng)委會(huì)篩選，被選中藝術(shù)作品的藝術(shù)家將在2022年3月14日開(kāi)始通過(guò)電子郵件的方式進(jìn)行溝通聯(lián)系

• Submissions begin January 17th, 2022, and end March 11, 2022. Works could be modified before the deadline.

• ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists over 18 residing within America.

• FEES: Free to enter

• Applicants are asked to provide a biography, artist statement, title, description (medium/process), and work sizes (dimensions and weight/duration) for each work.

* All works that fit the above categories and descriptions can be registered by scanning the QR code in any poster of this article and submitted to the OSSC Art Committee for screening.

* If you need to submit multiple works, please submit the whole google form again.

Accept Notice：

After being selected by the OSSC Art Committee, accepted artists will also receive follow-up communication and acceptance letters through email after March 14, 2022.
